Lemonade Stand - July 2009

Josh and the boys spent a weekend on a special project. They built a lemonade stand! It was the perfect idea...

Zach loved the sanding tool! I can tell you that there is no way anyone is getting a splinter from that lemonade stand! Zach was very thorough...and he did a great job!

Ryan got in on the painting too!

TA -DA! Didn't it turn out awesome!?? I was so proud of them!

Their FIRST customer! Wasn't that sweet of our postal carrier to stop by for a glass?! She was so nice. She even surprised the boys and gave them a tip! (Yes...they did have a tip jar. Zach insisted.) :)

Their second customer. A boy that lives around the corner from us. He was so sweet too. He complimented the boys on their lemonade. He even told his friend down the street and well...word of mouth, you know what happens! The boys had a few visitors that day...but the real pay day was when we had a garages sale the next weekend! They set up their stand bright and early, made lemonade, added freeze pops to their inventory as well as a few of their old cars that Ryan could part with and ended up making....$31.00!!! They were thrilled!

It was fun to watch them. They sure had a great time. They got lots of compliments on their lemonade stand...which of course made Josh feel real good too! It was a good day. :)
