I want you to know how proud Dad and I are of you. Not for the awesome games you had this weekend, but for not giving up once!!! You and your team were faced with a situation where you had to win or tie the game to move on to the playoffs, or lose and go home. That is a very hard situation to be and you overcame it. You could have easily given up....but you continued to play hard. That makes us proud.
When you scored that goal in the last 30 seconds of the game....to TIE the score, we were so proud - NOT because of the goal, but because you played hard until the very end. That is big for you. You are growing up, baby, and we're having so much fun watching you.
Remember...you can do anything.
